Mona Apana
Mona Apana is certified in the Kundalini tradition by the KRI in Los
Angeles. She holds advanced certificates from the KRI in Espanola, New
Mexico, at Ram Das Puri Ranch and has been interpreting and teaching yoga
since the late 1960’s (since the first time it was popular.) Mona’s
teacher, Yogi Bhajan, thought that bringing yoga to the west would be the
perfect antidote to all of the young Americans who were seeking
enlightenment through artificial means. Yogi Bhajan blessed Mona with the
spiritual name of Meherbani Kaur, meaning, “graced with mercy and kindness.”
To uphold this beautiful name, Mona has created individual and group classes
for a wide array of students including: The Fuller Institute in Pasadena,
Yoga West, local fitness clubs and corporate offices in Los Angeles. |

Patricia Coleman
Patricia Coleman is, predominantly, a student of life who stumbled within to the
divine by way of becoming a yoga instructor, certified massage therapist, basic
anatomy teacher, lomilomi practitioner, Reiki Master Practitioner & Instructor,
Reconnective Healing Practitioner and by rediscovering her inner goof-ball.
Clearly an over-acheiver - the study and practice of yoga have been her saving
grace for nearly ten years. Everyone and everything, quite literally, are her
teachers. Narrowed to the realm of yoga, however, those who have impacted her
most are: Ganga White and Tracey Rich of the White Lotus Foundation, Santa
Barbara, where she trained in 2004; Paul Grilley; Carl Dawson; Elyse Briggs and
the written works of the works of J. Krishnamurti; and, B.K.S. Iyengar.

Shari
Goodhartz, ERYT 200
Shari started practicing yoga in hopes of finding a healthy way to counter
the stress of a television writing career; from her first class, she knew
she had found something that could work. Three years later, she completed
the Center for Yoga's teacher training, where she first learned about Anusara Yoga, a
Hatha style created by John Friend that elegantly integrates
bio-mechanical science with life-affirming, heart-opening spirituality. Shari
is deep into the certification process to become an Anusara yoga teacher. Her compassionate, non-competitive attitude creates a
playful environment that celebrates the innate value of every student, and
provides the technical tools that empower students to safely master more
challenging poses. Shari also enjoys studying yoga philosophy with Dr.
Douglas Brooks from the University of Rochester, and Sanskrit with Loyola Marymount's Marcy Braverman. She continues to work as a professional writer
and tries to bring yogic clarity into her writing, and her life.

Yoga. She exudes a passion for teaching. Cindi teaches classes at an assortment
of venues which include yoga studios, corporate offices, an Aikido studio and

yoga is to help people become stronger, more flexible, free, open, and grounded;
ultimately to be more at one with oneself. Cindi believes this can be achieved
