This means that it really doesn't matter where you think you are in your practice.  It doesn't mean that the person next to you is 'more flexible' than you and they're laughing.  It also doesn't mean that if you try something you are not sure of, you'll fail.  All Levels means that no matter where you are in your practice, you're invited to experiment in any class at any level and just see where you are!  You just might surprise yourself.

 

 

 

 


Anusara

Beginners, Seniors, Special Needs
Experience breath and movement as a personal work in progress toward health and well being.  Excellent for beginners, seniors, those with chronic aches & pains, life threatening illness survivors, long and short term illnesses and conditions. You will learn modified poses that are safe & comfortable along with proper tension releasing breathing techniques.  (A haven for the beginning student!)

Core Strength and Length
By working the muscles in your body's "core" you will improve the effectiveness of movements in your daily life.  By creating a stable, strong base for those muscles you can optimize the strength, length and flexibility of each limb.  Great for anyone who wants to get stronger.

 

 

 

 


Family Yoga

Suitable for all ages and levels.  A creative, playful and fluid series of fun poses designed to calm and center the whole family!  Babies to Bubies!  All are welcome '-).  A time for you to have a practice when there's no sitter!  Great Fun!

 

 

 

 


Flow
Based on Ashtanga Yoga and designed to link breath with movement. Perfect for all levels.

 

 

 

 


Gentle Yoga

A unique combination of postures and movements to relax your mind. Connect with your body & spirit while you experience this gentle form of yoga. A great class for all levels and great for beginners. Emphasis on the breath and the flow of energy within your body.

 

 

 

 


Iyengar Style

The practice of Iyengar yoga focuses on proper body alignment which allows the body to develop harmoniously in an anatomically correct way so that the student suffers no injury or pain when practicing. Because all bodies have different weaknesses and strengths, Iyengar Yoga applies the use of props (wooden blocks, chairs, blankets and belts) to help the body into the correct positions so that one can work in a range of motion that is safe and effective.

 

 

 

 


Kids Yoga

Really fun!  Proper breathing techniques, posture, and relaxation are taught in a playful environment. Students are given important tools to use in sports and daily life to keep their bodies safe and spirits light.  Be prepared to work and have a blast! This class is ongoing on a weekly basis.

 

 

 

 


MS Yoga: Yoga for People with MS/Adaptive Iyengar Yoga

With an Emphasis on adaptation, this wonderful form of Iyengar yoga is especially designed to address the postural, mobility and functinonal needs of those living with Multiple Sclerosis and/or limited mobility.  This class offers a series of supported and mindful postures that can be done seated or on the floor in a friendly and restorative environment.  Perfect for those who have had little or no yoga experience and looking to improve quality of life through the practice of yoga.  Proudly hosted by Yoga at the Village and sponsored by the National MS Society. Finally, a practice for mom or dad where babies, laughter, crying, screaming, nursing and changing diapers are all welcomed.

 

 

 

 


PreNatal Yoga
Create peaceful, quiet space that inspires mind/body/spirit baby connection!  Learn breathing techniques and postures that aid in the comfort for your entire pregnancy an into the birth of your child.  Perfect for the Dad-to-be, too!S

 

 

 

 


Restorative
Basic seated, standing, reclining and supported postures ideal for cultivation increased flexibility, circulation and regenerating the entire body, physically, energetically and mentally.  A blissful way to unwind.  Great for the prenatal student.

Yoga Basics
