WORKOUT.
NUAD BO-RARN, the Traditional Massage
of Thailand, is an ancient form of therapeutic bodywork first practiced
over 2500 years ago in Thailand and combines acupressure, yoga,
compression and deep stretching techniques utilizing the practitioner's
palms, thumbs, elbows, soles of the feet and knees to release muscles and
free joints. Performed on a floor mat, both practitioner and client move
through four traditional positions; front, back, side and seated.
Practiced in meditative
and dance-like movements,
Thai Massage oxygenates
the blood, improves circulation, increases joint flexibility, massages
internal organs, reduces stress, increases energy and facilitates
mind/body/spirit balance.
It is often referred to as 'Yoga for lazy
people.'
